How we write comparisons
We check competitor facts against their own documentation and date every page. We do not quote competitor prices unless we can cite them, and we say where another tool is the better choice. Two differences come up often, so here they are up front:
- Where requests run. The Swastik Codes web app sends requests through the swastik.codes server, so it tests APIs reachable from the internet, not
localhost. Its desktop app and other desktop clients reach your local machine directly. - Where data lives. Signed-in workspaces sync through our servers, so teams share collections, comments and reviews in real time. Tools that store collections as files in your Git repository suit teams who want everything in version control.
