Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Shwastik Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd about your use of Swastik Codes. Please read them; by creating an account or using the service you accept them.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Swastik Codes ("the service") is a web-based platform for building, testing, mocking, monitoring and documenting APIs, available at https://swastik.codes. It is operated by Shwastik Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd, India ("we", "us"). These terms cover the website, the web application at swastik.codes/app, the API under swastik.codes/api, mock server URLs, published documentation pages and any related services we provide.

If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

Our privacy policy, cookie policy and acceptable use policy form part of these terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You agree to give a valid email address, to keep your password and API keys secret and to tell us promptly at support@swastik.codes if you think your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account, including requests sent with your API keys.

The web app requires an account. The desktop app and the swc command-line tool can be used without one; these terms still apply.

3. The service

3.1 What it does

The service lets you compose and send requests to APIs over HTTP and other protocols (including GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, Socket.IO, Server-Sent Events, MQTT and MCP), organise them in collections and workspaces, run scripts and tests, run collections and load tests, host mock servers, schedule monitors, write API specifications, publish documentation and collaborate in teams.

3.2 Requests sent on your behalf

In the web app, requests are sent by our servers on your instruction. You decide where they go and what they contain. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to send them, and for complying with the terms of the APIs you call. To protect our network, the service refuses requests to private, loopback, link-local and other reserved addresses, caps timeouts and response sizes, and limits concurrent runs, load-test size and rates.

3.3 Free service and changes

The service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future; if we do, we will tell you in advance, and nothing you use for free today will start costing money without your agreement. We are continually improving the service and may add, change or remove features. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that significantly reduce functionality you rely on.

3.4 Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may suspend it for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of important data; you can export collections and environments at any time.

4. Your content

"Your content" means everything you or your team put into the service: collections, requests, environments, scripts, specifications, flows, comments, examples and so on.

  • You own your content. We claim no ownership of it.
  • Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, process and display your content only as needed to provide and secure the service, for example to sync it, run it, send your requests, serve your mock servers and show it to the members of your workspaces.
  • Public content. If you publish documentation or put content in a public workspace, you make it available to anyone. Check it for secrets first; the app includes a secret scanner to help.
  • Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the rights needed for your content and that it does not break the law or these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our acceptable use policy. In short: do not use the service to attack, probe or overload systems you are not authorised to test, to send spam, to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with the service or other users. Load tests and monitors may only target systems you own or are authorised to test.

6. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

7. Our intellectual property

The service, its software, design and the Swastik Codes name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as offered; they do not give you any other rights in it. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the service except where the law allows it.

Product names of other companies mentioned on this website, for example in comparisons or import features, are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify their products.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@swastik.codes.

We may suspend or close your account, or restrict features, if you breach these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, harms other users or the service, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your content. If we discontinue the service as a whole, we will give at least 30 days' notice where possible so you can export your data.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Test results, monitor results, load-test figures, generated code and mock responses are tools to help you; check them before relying on them for important decisions.

10. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) arising from claims by third parties caused by your content, your requests to third-party systems, or your breach of these terms or the law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify signed-in users by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the problem informally.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
